| The Society has a useful library of books on Libya and related North African subjects, originating in the collection of the late Professor R.G. Goodchild. The library is housed on Level F, mobile stacks of the Library, First Floor, School of Oriental and African Studies, Thornhaugh St, Russell Square, London, WC1H OXG. Members are entitled to a letter of introduction which will enable them to consult the Society's holdings and have borrowing rights.

The Society's archive of documents, photographs and drawings is held at the University of Leicester and is open to members by arrangement with the Department. The Society is in the process of producing a full inventory of the contents, which will eventually be posted on this website.
